The number of patients who reached full weight bearing within 12 weeks was significantly higher in the PWB group than in the RWB group: 58.1% versus 28.3% (p<0.01). Binary logistic regression analysis revealed that, irrespective of PWB or RWB, Schatzker type and multiple fractures (p<0.05) were independent predictors of late full weight bearing (>12 weeks).
