245 About the author (Curriculum Vitae) 8 ABOUT THE AUTHOR (CURRICULUM VITAE) Mirjam Cecilia Maria Wever was born on the 3rd of March 1991 in Oosterblokker, the Netherlands. After graduating from secondary school in 2009 (Atheneum, Tabor college, Oscar Romero in Hoorn), Mirjam obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology (2012) at the University of Amsterdam and her Research Master’s degree in Neuroscience (2014) at the VU University Amsterdam. Passionate about the cutting edge of psychology and neurobiology and with a special interest for clinical disorders and neuroimaging techniques, she started to work as a research assistant at various locations. Mirjam worked as a research assistant at the Image Sciences Institute in the Nutritional Neuroscience lab, UMC Utrecht, under supervision of dr. Paul Smeets (2014-2015), to gain extensive research experience on functional neuroimaging. Subsequently, she worked as a research assistant at Rintveld Eating Disorders, Zeist, under supervision of prof.dr. Annemarie van Elburg and dr. Unna Danner (2015-2017), to broaden her knowledge about doing research in a clinical setting. In 2017 Mirjam started her five-year PhD project as part of an NWO VICI project at the Department of Clinical Psychology at Leiden University. Under the supervision of prof.dr. Bernet Elzinga, dr. Geert-Jan Will, and dr. Marieke Tollenaar, she explored the neural and affective signatures of connectedness between parents and adolescents. During her PhD, Mirjam received training from the Dutch-Flemish postgraduate school for Experimental Psychopathology (EPP) and the Graduate School of Social and Behavioral Sciences of Leiden University. Furthermore, she performed various teaching tasks, such as training and supervision of multiple Clinical Psychology master students in writing their thesis and conducting clinical research, and teaching several bachelor and master courses. Currently, Mirjam continues her work as a postdoctoral researcher within the RE-PAIR project in the lab of prof.dr. Bernet Elzinga.
